{"id":100,"date":"2020-04-02T13:44:37","date_gmt":"2020-04-02T13:44:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/baldconsulting.com\/?post_type=epkb_post_type_1&#038;p=100"},"modified":"2020-04-03T09:36:54","modified_gmt":"2020-04-03T09:36:54","slug":"philosophy","status":"publish","type":"epkb_post_type_1","link":"https:\/\/baldconsulting.com\/?epkb_post_type_1=philosophy","title":{"rendered":"PHILOSOPHY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Keep this philosophy in mind the next time you either hear or are about to repeat a rumour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>In ancient Greece (469 &#8211; 399 BC), Socrates was widely lauded for his wisdom.<br>One day the great philosopher came upon an acquaintance who ran up to him excitedly and said,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>&#8220;Socrates, do you know what I just heard about one of your students?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>&#8220;Wait a moment,&#8221; Socrates replied. &#8220;Before you tell me I&#8217;d like you to pass a little test. It&#8217;s called the Triple Filter Test.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>&#8220;Triple filter?&#8221;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;That&#8217;s right,&#8221; Socrates continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>&#8220;Before you talk to me about my student let&#8217;s take a moment to filter what you&#8217;re going to say.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first filter is Truth. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>&#8220;No,&#8221; the man said, &#8220;actually I just heard about it.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>&#8220;All right,&#8221; said Socrates. &#8220;So you don&#8217;t really know if it&#8217;s true or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Now let&#8217;s try the second filter, the filter of Goodness.
